We are The Journalists

At the Journalists, we had an idea: does an ensemble of theatre makers, committed to working together on a regular basis, make great art? Can we create a diverse and innovative rehearsal room through the cross-pollination of ideas and skills? Can we devise theatre that speaks to our time, and channels the core magic of live performance? And more importantly: how can we offer this in the most accessible way possible?

We call ourselves Journalists because we are just that: investigators, researchers, truth-tellers; in a world full of winding information, if journalism is to become a spectacle, then maybe spectacle can become journalism. We seek to understand our time and bring that information to our community. Keep your eyes on the page, you’ll want to see this.
